The YAZ Slashers acquire relief pitcher Matt Thornton of the White Sox, relief pitcher Grant Balfour of the Rays, and Alphalpha Sprouts 24th pick in the 2010 draft. In turn, Alphalpha Sprouts receive SS Brandon Wood of the LA Angels, relief pitcher Joe Nelson of the Rays, and YAZ's 3rd round pick in the 2010 draft.
